Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American artist and actress whose range earned her popular acclaim in various categories ranging from period dramas to thriller and action adventure. Johansson was the daughter of a film producer and an architect, grew up in New York City. Her twin brother Hunter as well as her mother were the youngest siblings. By the age of seven, she was already casting for TV commercials. Then she began her studies at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and afterwards went to the Professional Children's School in Manhattan to improve her skills.
